AVSL 2024/25: Round 5 Wrap

We were back at the Moonee Valley Athletics Centre for the first time since round 1. The warm spring afternoon provided us with enjoyable conditions, whilst the on and off wind provided challening conditions in the javelin. Recording 20,265 points ensured that we finished 2nd for the round. Another top 2 finish, sees us head into Round 6, 1st on the Division 3 ladder with 44 ladder points.

Congratulations to the following athletes on being named in the top 100 athletes for round 5: Anwita Prasanth (1,144pts), Chloe Grenade (1,109pts), Gurpreet Rai (1,169pts), Arnavjot Aulakh (1,061pts), Nicolas Bannan (961pts), Rajnihal Singh Bhullar (923pts) and Jasman Mann (900pts).

The following athletes recorded PBs in the following events: Navdeep Rai (100m), Anwita Prasanth (100m and high jump), Aaruthie Suhinthan (100m and long jump), Ojal Kurl (100m and long jump), Reet Sandhu (high jump), Jagjit Kaur (discus), Joe Liu (100m), Arnavjot Aulakh (100m, 110m hurdles, high jump and long jump), Nicolas Bannan (100m and javelin), Prem Bhatt (discus), Jasman Mann (100m and high jump), Rajnihal Singh Bhullar (long jump) and Ansh Chauhan (100m and high jump).
